Military Ethical Reform in Eastern Europe and Russia

This paper addresses the ethical problems and military reform needed in Eastern Europe and Russia as related to the contemporary globalization process

These ethical problems arise in connection with economic integration of East and West advances in science and technology and increased armed violence and terrorism.

The vital importance of solving the associated military ethical questions is stressed.

Military ethical reform requires professional military officers to equip their military subordinates with moral principles for very complicated situations. The need for military reform in the areas of military ethics and ethical guidance are especially of vital importance for the Armed Forces of present day Russia. In the Russian spheres of economics, politics, culture and the Armed Forces, moral reform is needed.

The associated present moral crisis in the Russian Army is very dangerous for the security of the world.
