Interaction RMH is a Christian leadership training program for young international and U.S. military personnel starting their careers. The program focuses on biblical leadership and personal discipleship through activities such as rock climbing, rappelling, backpacking, white water rafting, mountain biking, Bible study, and lots of personal interaction. It is centered on a seven day outdoor adventure experience at the OCF retreat center at Spring Canyon, Colorado, followed by visits to other points of interest in Colorado.

Requirements

Anyone interested should:
  • Be a cadet, midshipman, officer candidate, newly commissioned officer, or non commissioned officer with desire to serve Christ in the military.
  • Have made a profession of faith or demonstrated an interest in doing so.
  • Desire to make an impact in the military of their respective country for now and in the future.
  • In order to participate safely in the physical activities of Rocky Mountain High program, a good working knowledge of English is required to attend. Before approving your nomination, we will be interviewing you (via Skype, Facetime, etc.)  to learn your level of English language skills.
  • Be in good physical condition to be able to participate on a physically demanding program
  • Be available to be in the United States for two weeks plus travel time.
  • Be nominated by prior participants, MCF leaders, AMCF officers, staff members of ACCTS, MMI, and MSO.

Whenever an Interaction Rocky Mountain High program is scheduled, the coordinator will request nominations to participate from prior participants, MCF leaders, all the AMCF officers and staff members of ACCTS, MMI, and MSO.

Once candidates have been selected, the coordinator will notify the AMCF officers and staff members of ACCTS, MMI, and MSO of those who have been selected. ACCTS will then assist with the documentation required for permits and make all necessary travel arrangements. Individual participants and their related national military Christian fellowship will be requested to help with program and travel expenses as they are able. ACCTS will work to raise funds for the remaining balance of the participant’s travel and program expenses, but we cannot guarantee that we can cover all remaining expenses. Personal expenses will be the responsibility of each participant.

Once the program has begun, participants are expected to remain with the group until the entire program has been completed. Personal business and visits with friends and relatives in the US or other countries should be scheduled either prior to or following the program.
